We have a CB unit for a van that already had the antenna mount on the roof.  
I have wanted to put it in our tow vehicle but don't want to have to install 
a roof mount.

Does the antenna for the Uniden have to be "hard-installed" or is it 
'portable'?  Is there such an animal?  I would love to have the use of a CB 
while towing on the highways.
