Our 65 A/S has a laquer clearcoat which has failed in several areas, which 
is the case for many older A/S's.

Our only choice is to strip the clearcoar with ZEP and then do a 2 stage 
polish with a power buffer - on the bare aluminum.

By all means, keep the power buffer away from your good clearcoat!

The only positive is that older A/S's can be polished to a mirror finish if 
done right.
