I just read that to stay "legal" you need a fuse in the + lead within 18
inches of the posative post on the battery.... With all the modifications
going on, I'll bet this gets stretched, if not ignored...

To start a real trailer burner, the current has to be high enough to burn
the insulation or something nearby, and most likely high enough to pop that
fuse...

I have revised my proposed schematic several times and I'm trying to decide
if I want to mount the fuse on each battery or try to locate a fuse block of
high current fused somewhere....I'm leaning toward an individual fuse on
each battery either on or very close to the + post...Is anyone aware of a
high current DC circuit breaker that would be appropriate for this
application???... I have seen the fuses in some of the sales literature from
Ample etc....

All advice is appreciated
