That is a very wise thing to do.  You will never regret it.  Even though I
document the rebuilding of the old existing axle on my website, the '56
Flying Cloud will get a new Dexter axle when all the other resto work is
done.  Somehow breaking an axle at highway speed like we did on the '65
Caravel makes you rethink things.  Age is not kind to 50 year old running
gear,  I believe it now more than ever.
