When I had my 67 Safari I experienced rear frame separation while hitting the potholes 
on the Cross Bronx Expressway! My solution was simpler then Terry's but more expensive. 
I took it to the A/S plant and they fixed it properly! While at the plant I was able to 
be in the bay with the service guys who all had worked there at the time my 67 was being 
built! They were great and did a lot of extra's for me at no charge! (replaced rivets, 
reinforced cabinets that were loose, etc.) With me standing there adding jobs as I thought 
of them, I had the vent covers replaced, solar rock guard added, sealed the windows, etc. 
The whole experience at the plant was great  and I'll do it again with the 54 FC as I find 
jobs I know I can't do myself.
