Thanks to all who responded to my air conditioner question. The reason I don't believe it's suppose to be where it is, and it's jerry rigged, is the fact the service manual shows the placement of the A\C to be basically where the oven and fridge is located. As Harvey pointed out in another response, the correct placement would be where a roof vent is currently placed, which is what the manual shows. The best I can figure, the 25ft Tradewind should have only two roof vents and fans. The A\C is located approx midway between the two vents. In addition, the room divider had to be cut to accomodate the unit. Everything else on this unit is original, and in very good condition, with some undates. I thought the dome idea was novel that Terry pointed out, but would rather bring the unit back to original condition. I suppose I should be prepared to spend plenty of money for this project, if and when I decide to tackle it. !
