Yes i read this the transmition was installed by a Dodge dealer and I do have 
a waranty for 36k miles. I still have a fear about it it shifts like a rusty 
gate . I have been sorta shoping around to see if I can find an allison 
transmition on a wrecked truck and if it would be possable to install it.I 
used to be a fairly good shadetree mechanic an could improvise repairs that 
the normal mechanic would never try(IE a triumph TR4 motor in a land rover) 
in the states the AAA will tow me in and the warantee is in my glove 
compartment. could try the old trick of disconnecting the speedometer on long 
state side trips....... Used to do that when cars were guranteed for 12k 
miles ......... but thats cheeting right?????????
