Mary, the Sony generator site has a 2 slice toaster listed as drawing 1050 watts and a coffee maker drawing 1750 watts with no surge on start up. It seems you are at least 1600 watts short. Inverters like a huge battery bank to suck power out of and resistance loads take a lot of watts. Others on the list will come up with even more details. Jim
