This must be something very new (did mine about a year ago with no issue).
As they still allow additional receivers at the $5/month additional fee,
just don't tell them it is in the A/S.  If you want to qualify the A/S
receiver for national network feeds, that does require a form where you
certify that the receiver is exclusively installed in the RV.  What it
really sounds like happened is that at some point they turned on some of the
national feeds for your house (they did this at one time). Later they turned
all those off, but maybe your got lost acct was overlooked.  I had those
national feeds as part of my HD household acct for a couple of years and
then they shut them off.  I was told that I could NOT have both national and
local feeds on the same acct and besides the local channels are spot beamed
to just your local area, so you could not get them in the A/S when you were
outside you home area.  If your house does not legally qualify for the
national network feeds, but you want the A/S to do so, then a separate acct
would be involved since additional receivers MUST have identical service to
the primary receiver to qualify for the $5/month fee.  Really sounds like
they have spotted their error on your primary receiver (ie national feeds)
and I will be surprised if you don't loose those national feeds on your
primary receiver. Still if all you want is the same service in the A/S as
you have in your house, just buy the additional receiver, and have them
activate it as a mirrored additional unit (tell them it is in a bedroom) and
you will get the $5/month fee.
