Hello Warren, Myself, I wouldn't run anything rated higher then Airstream recommends. The tires that they recommend I would say will haul what the trailer can safely haul. The higher the rating, the harder the ride and all it does is beat the trailer apart. This is my opinion. Richard in Southwest Ohio.
