Whoa, how can you say that the 5.3 makes as much power as the old 500 cu. 
in. Cadillac?  The HP might be there but the torque is different.  The 5.3 
is more like 327 cu. in. rather than 350.  The 5.3 does seem to a good 
engine but I think it is marginal with a 25' trailer.
