[A/S] Re: Hitch Advice

 I appreciate the thoughtful replies to my Hitch
question.  As far as experience determining the choice
of hitch, I do consider myself a relatively skilled,
experienced driver.  We had a 4WD 1 ton dually for
years and I also quite often towed a heavily loaded,
non-braked landscape trailer behind a Montero SUV with
no problems.  Thankfully, we've never had a serious
accident. 

The comment about a Hensley being expensive
overcontrol was specifically addressed to my
comparatively smaller (23') A/S and longer (138.5")
wheelbase truck. 

Hunter just posted a used Hensley reference on the
list and I'm looking into that.  At this point what
recommendation for a hitch is strongest?  And is that
recomendation based on price, familiarity,
performance, ease-of-use, or a function all of these
factors?
