Hi Vince,

Welcome to the list. I feel eminently qualified to answer as I have a 25' 
Classic and my original tow vehicle was a Chevy 1500 5.7L V8. <g>

I could have written that because I too want to be going at highway speeds 
when merging onto the freeways.

I pulled my 25' home from Atlanta to SC, up and down some hills.  There was 
nothing in the trailer so it was no where near the weight it was going to be 
with fluids and stuff.

I barely made it to the top of those hills..... I had a parade behind me when 
I crested each one. Not mountains, hills... steep hills, but hills.

I sold the burb and got the F-250 with the diesel.  I've criss crossed the 
Rockies and not a peep out of the truck.

Try it, it's all about your comfort level. I've seen people towing 34' 
Airstreams with your truck.  They get where they're going..... <g>

I'm like you, I want power.

The 25' is a great trailer. Mine is a 96, the best floorplan which they 
unfortunately don't make any more.
