I have a dish that I set up, I plug it in the side where you plug the cable tv in.  Then 
inside I have to jumper the wires around, the jacks are on the wall and it is easy. At a 
recent rally there were people that the Winegaurd dishes that they mounted to their roof.  
I hate to chance a roof leak myself.
   
  There was a lady parked next to me who had solar, she ran her TV, charged her cell 
phone and used her laptop off of them.  I may add that myself but I would probably not 
put them on the roof.  Don't know that I would use them that much, like the satelite tv 
most of the places I go provide cable and electricity.
