So, it appears that it is possible -- there's no reason, structurally, why a
satellite dish couldn't be installed...right?  We've had roof-mounted
satellite dishes on all the RVs we've ever owned and have never had a
problem with the roofs leaking.

I guess you don't know whether she had the standard Airstream-installed
solar system, or whether she'd upgraded?

We *would* (and do) use solar a lot...probably 95% of our camping is
boondocking out far away from anyplace that provides cable or electricity.
And we regularly run a laptop (or two), a modem, a TV, and a receiver, so
having a system that's big enough to charge the batteries during the day is
very important to us.

Does Airstream reinforce the roof if the solar option is ordered?
