While  they do get good gas mileage, and would probably be good for short
trips,  because the chassis they're built on only has a 10,000-something
pound  GVWR, and most of them I've seen have at least one slide, their CCC is
very  low (in the 400# range).

I'm not aware of a slide on any of the Airstream M-B based touring  coaches.
