I bought this exact vehicle last summer.  4WD.  Pulling a 1975
Overlander (6,000 lb.) I get about 9.0 mpg average.  This is mostly
freeway driving and not too many hills.  Without towing I am
averaging about 10.0 mpg, but this is mostly stop-and-go city
driving.  Pure non-towing freeway driving is about 13 mpg on long
trips.  This is in "2WD" mode. Mileage goes down when the "4WD
Automatic" in engaged.

By the way, it is a great tow vehicle, but I would appreciate a
longer wheelbase...
