From what I have heard mileage would be from 6 to 8 towing, depending on
winds and terrain.  Best would be around 10 not towing.  It would be wise to
seriously consider a diesel option.  The Duramax pickups are a good choice
and the GM van is now available with a de-rated Duramax.
