Hello Tina,
I used to pull my 68 Sovereign (30 footer) with a 1500 Suburban and
found that it was not big enough for the job at hand. You have to
understand that as a X Truck Driver I don't like to fight towing
anything! I wore out 2 1500's before I bit the bullet and purchased my
04 2500 LT with Auto ride. We travel with 110 Golden/Lab mix, a Cocker,
2 teenage girls and a cat. The Suburban has room for all and the power
to pull (8.1). It also is heavy enough to keep the trailer behind it in
the worse conditions at highway speeds. In short its just what the
doctor order!
