Re: [A/S] Fridge not holding up was First year as Airstreamer

I wonder if today's fridges are more sensitive to being off level ?

I'm also wondering if the older fridges with out the curcuit board are
tougher, I know that some folks get new circuit boards somewhere. Would
it be possible and or sensible to re wire and just light it ? At $800 +
a pop I would hate to start replacing fridges.

My '73 came with a PO installed elderly squirrel cage fan that runs on
110, mounted in the plenum behind. When in a hot place, running that
makes a huge difference in the fridge's efficiency. I also have a 12v
muffin fan hung in there to use when off grid, sparingly, and finding
some shade helps, plus I often remove the access door to increase the
airflow
