dear daisy,

thanks for your response,  but I take offense at your remark of 
setting a bad example and wishing me harm.  I have checked out the 
heater its all in place, complete and not rusted, also the previous 
owner checked it out he's the one who was also the most familar with 
the unit.  he also started and ran the unit said its fine.  when i 
asked about the smell, he said it always seemed to have it.  they 
have owned the trailer some 45 years.  But im not completely onboard 
with the smell thing,  so im asking.  Maybie the old hydro flame 
hearters had a smell to them,  maybie there is something new, like a 
gasket leaking,  maybie you could be alittle nicer next time you 
respond without wishing someone would get hurt in checking out there 
trailer or the systems in it.
