Re: [A/S] Parkview RV, Delaware

Tracey -
I have bought parts from them mailorder for many years
and parkview has always made the extra effort to find
them and ship them quickly. With my 76 argosy this
was sometimes a challenge, with the 91 Excella less
so. I purchased the Excella on consignment through
Parkview last year and it was a good and bad
experience. The good part was that Parkview was
wonderful to deal with and their service department is
highly competent and did a lot of excellent work for
me before I took delivery. They truly make you feel
like family, are willing to go the extra mile and are
good people in my experience.
The bad part is that I learned consignment is not
the best way to go since there are no guarantees from
the dealer since you are in fact buying privately, and
you do not have the advantage of meeting and talking
to the private owner to question them about the
history of the unit, possible things to expect to
cause problems in the future, etc.
I would prefer to buy from an honest, reliable
dealer like Parkview A/S in Smyrna or Colonial A/S in
Brick, NJ in the future, but directly, or else
directly from a private party without the insulation.
In either case you would be in better shape.
