I have a 69 Tradewind I purchased earlier this year for $1500.00. 
The previous owner was more than fair and helpful and I found him to
be 
truly honest all around.  The reason it was so low in price was
because of exterior comestic damage(adds character) and of course 
extensive floor rot, most of which was hidden from view in the front 
beneaththe sofas. and in the rear behind the bathroom and at the 
entrance doorway.  Be sure to check these areas throughly.  If there
is 
major rot damage the asking price in my opinion is way to high.  I
knew 
what I was getting into when I purchased mine so I don't have any 
complaints, in fact I am enjoying the rebuilt process. It is truly a 
learning experience, but a lot of work to disassemble the interior to 
properly get a the floor.
