I fully agree but I have never wanted to own one because

1.  They were underpowered with that verdampt 454
  now, if they were to put a decent diesel engine in them...
2.  The driving compartment always seemed to take up too much of the living
area.   with slide outs though....
3.  Finally, I always thought it would be cool to hang another classic on the
tail as a toad.  you could buy a 27 or shorter tow with a diesel, and pull/drop
the 32' somewhere all hooked up and then spend the summer doing the area around
it within a couple of hundred miles... like Missoula or Leadville or Chama or
you name it.  you would have a fairly short tow to get around the sharper
curves, good weight/bhp ratio for climbing steep roads, etc  Then come back to
the big trailer for stretch out, refit, move on, whatever.
