  I do not feel that a Hensley hitch would solve your backing up problem. I 
have owned a Hensley for 5 years and I do not feel like it has an advantage 
when backing. In some situations, such as backing on sloping terrain, the head of 
the Hensley will shift making it more difficult to back up.
