[A/S] Complete Overhaul Questions

Hi All,

I am completely renovating a 1971 Airstream International (27') and I have 
some questions.  If anyone could help me out that would be amazing!

1.  We want to remove the floor but there are what look to be large-sized 
nail heads...we aren't sure if they are nail heads or perhaps some sort of 
weird rivet...the floor was partially repaired prior to us getting the 
airstream so we aren't sure if these are something we should be wary of or 
not.  do you know what these could be and if they are safe to rip up.  we 
have one piece of floor that is easily removeable but we cannot see to any 
of these mystery nails/rivets...

2.  Is there anything that anyone knows of that we should be especially 
careful of when ripping out the interior.  we have already removed the 
cupboards, couch, appliances.  wondering more about the walls or anything 
else...will removing these things hurt the integrity of the hull?  do we 
have to do things in a certain order?  We want to remove the walls to redo 
the insulation underneath and we will be replacing the walls as soon as the 
insulation is complete.  and we are not planning on actually moving the 
trailer while the walls are off.
