Thanks to everyone for your great comments and advice, as well as 
the sale offers.

I was in construction for several years and can do a bit of 
cabinetry, wiring, plumbing, etc; but, for this first trailer I need 
something I can start using immediately as my wife is interested in 
camping not another project for me.

"I bet if you wait until fall/winter, prices will drop."
The problem is Sept and Oct are a 2 of my favorite months (along 
with May) to camp, and I would really like to get out this year. 
Also, my current job is ending in mid/late August and I will be 
taking a couple of months off before starting a new job.

list...:-) ) are a lot more expensive on the West Coast than 
elsewhere."
From my limited time searching I can definitely agree with that. 
Seems all the good deals are back east. On the upside I'm going to 
be selling my '69 Ghia to help pay for the trailer :).

I am trying to expand my search a bit. However, with the bad 
experience I had last with the last one (Bend, OR), I am determined 
to look close enough that I can check out the trailer over a weekend 
prior to completing a transaction.

I don't mind overpaying some as long as the trailer is road ready 
within my budget. In a year or so I'd be much more interested in 
finding "a deal" on a trailer that needed some major work.

Anyone have any other favorite sites/groups/lists etc. that I should 
check out? Other then the ones listed in this group that is.

This I have done already actually, my brother pointed me toward one  
(too beat up), and my brother in law found another (too big). Both 
were within 20 miles, neither were advertised anywhere, just a sign 
in the window, so I still hopeful.

I'm still checking eBay but only looking at those within a day's 
driving distance. I am checking RVtraderonline.

I am trying, but I have yet to walk across the rice paper without 
tearing it. I did snatch the pebble though.
