Re: [A/S] Carrier AC
Steve, The Carrier AC works very well. It will keep the trailer cool. We
just got back from a few days in San Antonio where the temps were close to
100 for a couple of days. The only negative I have about the unit is the fan
speed. There are two speeds, hi and low. Both seem high to me and I wish
there was really a lower fan speed.
As for the "slinger", you will still have water coming down the sides. But
here's what you can do with the Carrier. Although it does not have a pan,
you can drill a small hole in the bottom of the unit and insert a brass
coupling to connect to the drain line in the A/S. So for no leaks, no water
down the outside and the condensation drains our through the drain line. I
will try and get a picture of this later today.
