One might ask, easier in what respect? Most of your towing is done in 
a relativly straight line so a few extra feet doesn't make much 
difference. I have found that backing a longer trailer is easier than 
backing a shorter one and modern RV parks and campgrounds allow you 
plenty of room. But towing is just one aspect of trailering. If you 
have to sit out a nasty weather day or have a couple guests in any 
extra space is much apperciated. Someone mentioned that you should 
consider the largest AS you can afford and feel comfortable in, I 
sure agree. When we bought our trailer we opted for an older 34' then 
spent  the rest of our budgeted money on a new tow vehicle that we 
thought could handle the trailer. That has worked for us as we have 
the option to go fulltiming if we should choose. In any event, you 
are on the right track with an Airstream. Best of luck! Jon
