I have a daughter and would not have wanted her to participate in a teen
queen contest when she was a teenager..... I doubt I'd have to tell her "no"
though...... (and trust me she would win <g>)

I had to chuckle when you mentioned this because I have a 17 yr. old young
woman going on 25! She went through the "cheerleader phase" and soon found
that it was not to her liking.
