Finally, someone in the IBT without rose colored glasses.  It is about time
that the club woke up and recognized that continuing down the same path as
the last 20years+ is slowly killing the club.  I was so disappointed in the
WBCCI survey done last year that led to a decision that all was fine and
only a bit of fine tuning was necessary.  Now what chance Jim Franklin has
of getting this enacted is the wild card.  I do think most members recognize
that the club has lost relevance to many of the newer buyers and that change
must happen.  Change is never easy and in an organization with so much
tradition, it many times is too late in coming to make a difference.  I am
very happy to see someone, in a position to make a difference, standing up
and putting ideas on the table.  Given that the proposal is coming from the
incoming President is very significant.  Just as the CCD (there was a
totally out of the box idea) reshaped the whole idea of what an Airstream
could be, hopefully, this is just the first of proposals the will result in
a reshaping of the WBCCI.
