I think you will find K&N filters to be less desirable than the promotion
material.

Yes, the air filters are low restriction (offer less resistance to the air
passing through them.

HOWEVER, I believe that they do this at the expense of fine filtration (less
than the OEM filter).  Allowing more dirt to get through the filter means
increased wear on the engine. Not a good trade off - unless, perhaps, you
sell the vehicle in a year or two and leave the consequences to someone
else.

I am not familiar with the characteristics of their oil filters.
