Many diesel owners are removing any K&N filter from their trucks due to 
contamination of the MAS sensor.  It apparently is coating it on the inside 
and throwing codes.  You might check the www.pickuptrucks.com forum to see 
the problems it is causing, particularly in the Duramax.  Many GM owners and 
pulling them out and going back to factory GM filters.
