I am considering the purchase of a 1977 A/S with the vacuum disc 
brakes.  This setup is original to the trailer.  Can anyone tell me 
the good, bad, or the ugly truth about how this system operates.  
Was it reliable in 1977?  Are parts still available for this today?  
I do understand that I need a special controller on the tow vehicle.
