Bill, I am pretty sure that the Sewer Solution will lift a 6 to 12
inch rise.  Before I treated myself to a new sewer line at my house
(LOL) I had about a 12 inch drop, then up and over a 14 inch long pipe
coming up out of the ground with no problem.  The venturi action of
the water jet acts as a pump.  Also, when your tanks are drained and
shut off you can run a lot of clean water to rinse the hose out.  Much
less fuss.  Maybe some one has done an uphill run and can tell you
about it.
