[A/S] Help me with a value please...

Greetings,

I'm looking into the possibility of entering the Airstream lifestyle! 
I've done some basic research and looked at various models.  I've 
been doing this for about a year on and off, but nothing to serious 
yet.

Well, a couple of days ago I spotted an ad in our local paper for a 
20 foot landyacht - 1964. Unfortunatly, I could only do an exterior 
inspection so far.

The trailer is an 1964 tradewind landyacht 24'.  Exterior is in bad 
to fair condition.  One significant crease on the street side, and 
the rear top corner has a major dent. Access panels are present, but 
in so-so condition. Belly looks fair.  The windows appear to be 
plastic. Overall very dirty. No awning, front window guard is broken.

Mechanically, the owner has replaced the bearings and tires.  Says 
the lights work.  Other equipment is unknown.

The interior looked like a trailer from 1964. Old, worn, some 
cushions missing, table missing. Window AC sitting on floor.

Hopefully, I've provide a good picture of this trailer for you. 
Before I go look again at this trailer, I'd like your opinion on a 
value assuming no major interior flaws are found.  I'm assuming 
furnace, stove, and Refrig are non-operational. But, I'm hoping the 
plumbing works.

I very much enjoy interior design, cabinetry, and craftsmanship.  My 
ideal project would be a trailer with a sound structure that needs an 
interior refit.

I understand the major dent in the upper rear corner is better 
repaired by proffesionals.  How much would this cost?  Is this 
possible to do myself?

This trailer is in Ohio.  So, whats it worth? Owner says $2,000.  I'm 
thinking run away, or alot less.
