From you description I would suggest you keep looking. This one sounds like
it way past rescuing. Although it may be possible to obtain replacement
panels for the exterior damage the repairs will be costly and will need to
done by a qualified Airstream facility. As for the interior appliances,
furnace, water, electrical, and gas lines I would bet they are in bad shape
to. You mentioned a window A/C sitting on the floor, I would think that a 64
would have come equipped with an roof A/C? Keep looking, there are still
some great Vintage units out there just waiting to be found.
