David, We tow a 31' with a short bed crew cab (F-350 PSD) and it works a treat. Since I had a SOB go nuts on me back in the 70s I have opted for the Hensley Arrow as a hitch and love its stability. Overall length on the road is about 53-1/2 feet. Matt
