[A/S] Diesel Problems - NOT Duramax

I have 40+K miles on my Duramax/Allison and couldn't be happier. Great
mileage, noise & comfort level, ride, room, handling & towing. (average
empty is 18 MPG 23/24 on the highway, 14 w/trailer) I don't believe anything
on the market compares. Dodge are still noisy (Not available in extended cab
any longer and still have a road noise problem) and Ford's extended cab
might as well not be in comparison with Chevy and the ride and handling is
much stiffer than Chevy. 2nd Chevy I own, 1st is a 93 1/2 ton, still on
original 350 engine @ 170+K miles, still tight, strong and comfortable.
(Factory paint job left a lot to be desired (1993 model). My two cents on
trucks.
