RE: [A/S] 94 Burb

John; lets start with the basics, Motor size, is it a 454 or 350; if
it's a 350 you will be limited on towing up grades; transmission, is it
specially equipped for towing with cooler and appropriate gear ratios;
rear end, ditto; Your 1/2 ton chassis will need beefing up to at least
3/4 ton if you are towing a 30' trailer; if you don't already have one
get a load leveler hitch set-up, Hensley would be my preference; also be
very careful with the load in the Suburban when hooked up to tow the
trailer, you can easily go over weight allowances by stowing too much
weight in the Suburban; good luck with your new "mule" Bob Cornute '77
31' International, WBCCI 4953 2VP H/M Unit (NY State)currently towing
with a 97 Dodge 3/4 ton van with beefed up rear to 1 ton with a 360
Dodge motor:) and towing package.
