On a '75 Sov, the furnace is mounted under the stove, curb side just aft 
of the door.  '72 should be similar.  The ductwork should all be there.  
The unit slides in from the outside but all the duct and gas connections 
have to be made from inside the trailer.  Make sure to clear the area of 
children and impressionable maidens, for profanity is sure to ensue.  
There is just no comfortable way to work that close to the floor, in 
that confined a space.  If you can see your way clear to hiring it done 
you will probably add to your longevity and reduce embarrassing 
explanations at the pearly gates.
