[A/S] dump valve dilemna HELP!!!
I have an AS 1972 trade wind landyacht that needed the dump valve
replaced. My generic RV Repair guy ordered the correct part from
Inland RV. When he went to replace it someone had glued part#3{on
page 159 of the service manual} He cant cont. the repair without
being unable to remove part #3. It is no longer available so it is
important we try to get it separated from the rest of the unit. The
glue looks grey in color. {parbond or vulcam maybe} Anyone have any
ideas as to what to do next? Inland said to send the WHOLE ASSEMBLY
TO THEM AND THEY WOULD REPAIR IT. That sounds pricey. Has anyone
encountered this problem. Also is it poss. to add a grey tank to my
AS? It doesnt have one. That wont help my original problem, just
asking. My Rv repair is a great person and wants to get the dump
valve fixed si if this happens again, I can buy a generic rv dump
valve the next time. Please any thoughts, ideas or criticisms would
be appreciated. You can contact me directly vis
