[A/S] Re: Brakes go clicketty clack
what you are probably hearing is the magnets energizing and then
releasing. This is good. It means that the magnets stick to the hub
when electricity is applied with a nice and solid click like a good
magnet should. Then, when you let off the brake, the springs pull it
back to the release position with a nice solid clack.
Now, if you are getting clicks and clacks on other than applying or
releasing the brakes, then I would worry.
Also note that these noises have nothing to do with the adjustment of
the brakes. You test that by raising a wheel off the road and seeing
if it has a slight drag for rotation.
