[A/S] Brakes go clicketty clack

JUST WONDERING............
Just had my brakes redone on my 87 trailer by a local mechanic who has  an 
excellent reputation.  For the first time I can ever remember, I can  hear the 
brakes GO CLICKETY CLACK whenever pump the brakes.  I noticed this  when 
backing into the driveway.  Just wondering if this is normal.   Otherwise, the 
brakes seem fine.
[Reason I had the brakes redone is because the local AS dealer in Smyrna,  DE 
  rebuilt my brakes last year and the same wheel froze up twice,  destoying 
the tires. Wouldn't go back to that AS dealer again.]
