Hello,
It took me some time to plan on stopping for bad weather before I ran
into a very bad storm in MN. Being an old truck driver I never thought
of stopping for inclement weather (move the freight) until two summers
ago. Now we watch the sky and if we see a storm in the horizon I
immediately start to look for a place to get off the road. Its better to
sit and wait than to drive into the storm, I almost dinged my trailer
and at the same time freaked the family out by not stopping. I now say
"I'm on vacation" and just stop.
