[A/S] generator power

I;m looking into buying land to set my airstream camper on. This 
land will not have electricity. I am looking into power sources for 
when I go camping there. I find the gas powered generator type like

which I think would work,but would it be extremely noisey and loud?I 
could get this for app $300

then there is the type as link below which is on sale for only $150
It would be quite ,but not sure how much wattage I'd need to run 
things and if it would last long enough?

How much wattage do you think I need to power the airstream needs,ie 
microwave,and other electric appliances and lighting.Would I be 
better off with the gas generator or the othe style?
