[A/S] Adjusting door alignment

The entrance door on my '79 International is slightly out of
alignment. The lower corner on the latch side is barely catching on
the threshold. You can push the door shut all the way to close it,
but this bends out the bottom of the door slightly. When you look at
the closed door from the outside, it's noticable that the gap around
the edges is not equal all the way around.

Note that there is otherwise no improper bowing of the door, which is
what I checked for first since that is a common problem.

I checked to see if there was any slop in the hinges but there is
none. It appears that the weight of the door has gradually pulled it
out of alignment with the the top hinge over the years.

The service manual only has instructions for removing the door, which
involves drilling out pop rivets on the inner door skins and removing
nuts from the hinges inside the exposed door cavity.

I assume that like a car door, the holes in the door are slotted and
it will just be a matter of loosening the nuts and retightening after
a second person repositions the door. I also assume that this will
require some trial and error to get it right.

Just wondering if anyone has done this before, and if my assumptions
are correct. Any tips are also appreciated.

Thanks,
Christopher
