Good thing you asked. The very last thing you want to do is loosen the hinge bolts. The 
hinge bolts are fastened on the inside with unsecured nuts. If/when a hinge bolt comes 
loose it is sometimes possible to retighten it. Often it is necessary to cut through the 
inside skin to replace or hold the nut to tighten the bolt.
Door alignment is a matter of bending and prying it back into alignment. A short 2x4 
works well as a lever. For your problem set the 2x4 on the threshold and swing the door 
in over it. Apply upward pressure with the 2x4 to force the door up. It will likely take 
several attempt to move it enough. Keep in mind the door isn't plastic so you can apply 
quite a bit of force without hurting anything.
This technique has been used for many years to recurve or adjust entry doors. A door that 
came open in transit will bend nearly flat but can be recurved to fit. In 12 years at a 
dealership we never met a door we couldn't realign. Right Ken.
