 Maybe I am old fashion,but I am one to go by what ever the 
manufacture says to do. What ever type of oil they thought was the 
best to use, that is what I would go with. Synthetic oil, I don't 
think is good in everything. I would check with Honda, before I did 
anything different from what the book says. Put very good locks on 
it, because locks are really only to keep the honest person honest 
slow down crooks. Richard in Southwest
