[A/S] Coming out of Hibernation

I know I know....* head bowed in shame *
I haven't posted forever, but I have been in hibernation.  The 
Excella is still winterized and its still snowing in Montana.

Anyway, Christopher, hold out for a rear bedroom.  I am so happy 
with it.  It took a VERY long time and extensive searches to find 
ours.  Had to go to Oregon and the owner took pity on me.  He sold 
it to me for $5000.  Airstreams are as rare as hen's teeth in 
Montana.  I've been told we could get $8,000 for him, but we are not 
selling.  This is a 1974 Excella 500 31', rear twin with original 
upholstery in excellent shape.  Still have the chandelier as the 
previous owners never put it up.

I can't wait to take this out on its maiden voyage SOMETIME this 
year.  We purchased "Speedy" last Fall and he's only been collecting 
dust in the shop and providing a place whenever Mark needs a mid day 
nap.

George I would like to see more info on how you changed out the 
twins in the rear.  I thought about doing this, but there are 
storage spaces under the twins.  If you could go into detail of how 
you did this without changing structure of battery storage, etc. 
this would be great.

If anyone knows of someone which needs a dependable, pretty tow 
vehicle I have one listed on EBAY for another 5 hours or so.  The 
reserve is $850, but the car is worth $2000.  Here's the link.

If I don't get the reserve I will have it shipped here.  If someone 
knows of someone that is coming Montana way from Norfolk, VA let me 
know if they want to tow it here.

Thanks all for allowing me to lurk through the winter.  I just 
couldn't be involved as it would have frustrated me and made me stir 
crazy.  I just go down to the shop where the streamer is and putz 
right now.  I can't wait to camp!!!
